Broom Forkmoss:
The broom forkmoss is placed in the kingdom plantae because its characteristics are mostly the same as the other plants that were placed in this kingdom. This plant was placed in this kingdom because it is a multicellular organism that uses photosynthesis as a way to get energy and contain in their cells chloroplast and surrounding it a cell wall [34].
The broom forkmoss is yellow-green moss that grow in patches. This moss is located in North America and can be found in the soil of moist or dry forest areas. The broom forkmoss is robust and coarse with shiny tufts that contain woolly stems on it. This is usually 2 to 8 cm high. They are most recognized for leaves because of how they curve to one side. The leaves are long, slender, and strongly toothed. People use the broom fork moss is used as arts and crafts and packing material [34].

Parana Pine: Candelabra tree
The parana pine is a part of the plantae kingdom because it is a type of plant. Anything in this lkingdom has to be some sort of plant. The parana pine is also a part of this kingdom because it is not motile, use photosynthesis to get energy, reproduce sexually, have chlorophyll containing organisms, and cellulose in their cell walls. All these charactersitics and more are in the other plants that have been catagorized into this kingdom [35].
The parana pine tree is found in the moist forests of south-eastern Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. This tree can grow up to 100 ft high and surrounding the stems of the tree are branches in circular form. The older it gets though, the more the branches droop creating a long bear trunk [36]. This tree also has cones attached to it. Inside these cones are seeds that people and animals use for food [37]. This tree is considered the most important timber tree of brazil for one reason. The reason is because of its high quality timber. Although, because it is so popular, it has become critically endangered, therefore discontinuing the export of this tree. The parana pine trees now are produced in planation facilities [38].

Magnolia Tree: Sweetbay
The magnolia tree is placed in the kingdom Plantae because it includes flowering plants, which the magnolia tree is. They also obtain energy through photosynthesis, lack motility, is eukaryotic, multicellular, and autotrophic. Also, in order to be in this kingdom, the organism has to reproduce asexually or sexually. The magnolia tree reproduces sexually through seeds.
The magnolia tree, also called the sweetbay is a slow growing small or medium sized tree that grows in wet or acidic soils of the coastal swamps and the low lands of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina [39]. The magnolia tree is about 200 meters high with cream flowers and fruit growing from it. The flowers can grow to 2 to 3 inches and the fruit are cone like and are about 2 inches long. Their straight grained wood is easily worked and finished well, that it is used for veneer, boxes, and containers [40].
